For most of us, given the tools and the knowledge, we can all create amazing things and beautiful things. So, whether you are looking to learn something new or build your skills, this is the place to do it
About Helen
Since leaving the corporate world many years ago, I have spent my energies learning, teaching and making to be the best that I can be, and that never stops. I founded London Metal Clay in 2011, and became a certified metal clay instructor. I ran it until 2023, when I had to stop due to a major neck problem. Surgery can be wonderful thing! Three years later and I have a wonderful new garden set studio with everything my students and I need to create gorgeous jewellery and more. There's a new name too, to better cover the breadth of crafts offered.

Small groups and expert teaching ensure that every student learns more quickly and deeply than in larger classes, whether we are creating in silver, yarn, wool or anything else.
Sharing my love of making with others makes me happy, I still grin like an idiot when my students see their pieces emerge from a kiln as real silver jewellery or proudly show off their first crocheted square. It just never gets old!
